PSW Editorial Advisory Board vacancy (Wales rep)
We’re looking for a BASW Cymru member to join PSW’s editorial board. You don’t need to have knowledge of publishing – the role of the board is to advise and support the editor on the content and direction of the magazine and monitor its quality. As a board member, you’ll take part in three meetings a year (MS Teams) where you will get a chance to review editions, contribute ideas and share social work expertise. Joining the board not only provides an opportunity to input into the production of PSW, it’s also a great way to increase your skills and experience.

Voluntary Coach - Social Work Professional Support Service
Applications are invited for Volunteer Coaches within The Social Work Professional Support Service (SWPSS). Closing date for applications: Monday 18th May 2026 4pm.
The Professional Support Service is a free and independent online coaching service which offers coaching sessions that have been specifically designed for social workers at any stage in their career and social work students across the UK.
Applications are particularly welcome from disabled, neurodivergent and Black, Asian and Majority Global candidates based in Scotland and Wales as these groups are currently under-represented within the service.
We would also welcome those with middle or senior management experience and social workers based in Wales who have experience of working within the field of Adults social work.
