BASW celebrates International Women's Day 2022

This year's theme is #BreakTheBias.

Today is International Women's Day 2022 - a day to celebrate women across the world and particularly in our social work profession. It's also a day to reflect on and recognise the continuing bias and discrimination that women face, and to challenge sexism.

    This year's theme is #BreakTheBias:

    Imagine a gender equal world.

A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.

A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

A world where difference is valued and celebrated.

Together we can forge women's equality.

    Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
