BASW congratulates social work and social care recognition in New Year Honours

Honours have been awarded to mark contributions in public life

BASW applauds all those from social work and social care professions across the UK who have been recognised for their achievements and service in the King’s New Year Honours.

Numerous individuals from social work and social care are represented in this year’s list, as well as Foster Carers and those working and volunteering in sectors that work with children, people with disabilities and in mental health, with some listed below.
