IFSW 2014 General Meeting will be Live-streamed

Dear IFSW Members

For those of you that will not be able to attend the General Meeting on the 6th and 7th July in Melbourne, you can still participate. We will live-streaming the event and you will be able to observe, make comments and ask questions during the meeting. 

The meeting starts at 9am, Melbourne, Australia time zone.

To access the live-stream, either click here, or go to: http://ifsw.org/live/ or follow the link on the IFSW website. You can try this now and find a welcome message from Rory Truell, IFSW Secretary General.

This is the first time IFSW has trialled live-streaming and the purpose is to create as much inclusivity as possible so that all our members can participate in the key events of the Federation. If this trial is successful we may consider developing the capacity for members to cast votes at future General Meetings via live-streaming, but this is not an option for the 2014 meeting.

The live-streams will be recorded and remain on-line so you also have the option of watching the event at a later date. We hope you find this useful and as always it would be wonderful to have your feedback.
