Report adds further urgency to calls for reform of social care.

The report does not present a sufficiently detailed historical legal and political summary of child protection policy or practice - nor does it incorporate the intersectional impact of marginalization, economic, social, and health inequalities

BASW recognises and stands in active opposition to the stigma, oppression, stereotyping and abuse that many trans people experience.

It is absolutely right that the NHS receives recognition for the incredible work during the pandemic. However, there will be many equally dedicated and courageous workers in social care – who often work alongside their colleagues in health – that will be thinking where is our recognition?

A new campaign - led by the Austerity Action Group - wants to hear research/involvement experiences in a new survey.
