BASW England Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise Sector Support Forum
Many social workers practicing in the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VSCE) sector do not work alongside other social workers and may not have an opportunity to reflect on their practice with other Social Workers using social work frameworks.
The purpose of this Support Forum is to have a safe, positive, solution focussed and confidential space for social workers employed in the VSCE sector to meet their peers, provide support to each other and to discuss and explore issues that arise.
This group will run 6 weekly and will be facilitated by a BASW England professional officer and a VCSE Social Worker. It will offer support to any BASW England member who works in the VCSE sector and wishes to attend the group.
To allow attendees to both contribute and to feel safe, each session will be limited to 8 members, so please book now or if it’s full book the next one 6 weeks later.
The group can be used as peer reflection for CPD requirements, but it is not a replacement for individual professional supervision.
All discussions are private and confidential. If any unsafe practice is discussed the group facilitator may need to follow this up after the group.
Please read the group ground rules before you attend a session: https://basw.co.uk/support/groups-and-networks/thematic-groups-england/…
