BASW Independents Local Networks provide an excellent opportunity to build professional links with other self-employed social workers in your area. These meetings are currently virtual and held on MS Teams.

This group meets quarterly on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

BASW Independents Practice Educator Network provides a space to create and nurture valuable professional links with other self-employed social workers in your area of practice. These informal meetings are member-led and supported centrally by BASW, with the opportunity to share hot topics and collaborate on wider activities.

Feel free to bring discussion items on both practice and running a social work business. The group is welcome to allow discussions to flow fluidly, or to lead a more structured meeting with a nominated chair and agenda items.

*Current members that subscribe to the Independents Basic or Plus package. Members in a general working category are also welcome to attend.
