Janet Newsham
Chair of Hazards Campaign and Coordinator of Greater Manchester Hazards Centre.
Janet is a union activist with over 40 years of experience, delivering TUC Occupational Health and Safety and employment law courses.
During her time at UCU, Janet led a Union Learn women's project and a health and safety project supporting young people in the workplace.
In her current role, she advises workers and campaigns on occupational health, safety and welfare issues.
Bringing decades of frontline experience to national policy discussions on workplace safety and health.
