Credyd Cynhwysol – Ymgyrch BASW DU

Credyd Cynhwysol – Ymgyrch BASW DU

Rydym yn annog ein haelodau i adael i’w lleisiau cael eu clywed yn erbyn y cynnig hwn ac i anfon y llythyr templed isod at eu Haelod Seneddol, yr Ysgrifennydd Gwladol dros Waith a Phensiynau, y Canghellor a’r Prif Weinidog. Unwaith y byddwch wedi anfon eich e-bost atynt, gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod wedi gwneud hyn trwy anfon ebost at kerri.prince@basw.co.uk fel y gallwn gadw cofnod o’r niferoedd.

Llythyr at eich AS - i ddod o hyd i gyfeiriad ebost eich AS, ewch i  https://members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP - rhaid i’r llythyr hwn cael ei anfon o’ch cyfeiriad ebost personol chi ac nid o gyfeiriad ebost eich gwaith

Testun: Llythyr oddi wrth etholwr yn eich etholaeth

Annwyl [Rhowch enw eich AS yma],

Rwy’n gwrthwynebu’r bwriad i dorri Credyd Cynhwysol sydd i ddigwydd yn yr hydref eleni.

Rwy’n aelod o Gymdeithas Brydeinig Gweithwyr Cymdeithasol (BASW). Mae gweithwyr  cymdeithasol yn gweld, yn uniongyrchol, effaith tlodi ar bobl, yn arbennig teuluoedd. Bydd torri Credyd Cynhwysol yn cael effaith arwyddocaol ar rôl gweithwyr cymdeithasol oherwydd bydd plant sy’n byw mewn tlodi yn llawer mwy tebyg o ddod dan ofal y wladwriaeth. Mae’r mwyafrif llethol o rieni yn magu plant yn dda, ond i’r rhieni hynny sy’n ymdrechu, mae tlodi yn gwneud y gwaith o fagu plant yn llawer anoddach. Bydd torri cymorth ariannol yn gwneud teuluoedd yn dlotach a magu plant yn llawer iawn mwy anodd. Bydd hyn nid yn unig yn ychwanegu haen arall o galedi i deuluoedd, ond bydd hefyd yn rhoi straen ychwanegol ar awdurdodau lleol sydd a’r cyfrifoldeb statudol i gynorthwyo plant sydd mewn perygl. Bydd torri Credyd Cynhwysol dim ond yn trosglwyddo’r cyfrifoldeb ariannol i awdurdodau lleol sydd eisoes dan bwysau .

Efallai nad yw’r Llywodraeth yn gweld bod £20 yr wythnos i fod yn swm mawr o arian i’r rhai hynny sydd angen incwm ychwanegol i allu goroesi, ond y gwir amdani yw byddai £20 yn cadw pennau unigolion neu deuluoedd uwchben y dŵr

Mae pawb ohonom yn edrych ymlaen at weld diwedd COVID-19, ond y gwir amdani yw bod y feirws dal yn bresennol ac rydym yn parhau i fyw gydag effaith y feirws ar ein cymdeithas. Collwyd swyddi, a llawer o bobl yn dioddef iechyd gwael neu golled sylweddol mewn incwm. Gyda’r gaeaf ar y trothwy, a fydd yn arwain at filiau ynni uwch, mae’r £20 yn bwysig i atal pobl rhag cael gwaeledd trwy fyw mewn tymereddau sy’n is nag sy’n dderbyniol.

Mae’r £20 yn achubiaeth, a hebddo, bydd pobl yn brwydro’n ddiangen .

Rwyf yn eich annog i ysgrifennu at y Prif Weinidog i ofyn iddo ailystyried ei gynllun.

Dymuniadau gorau,
